Oi with the rain

Some naked baby time after a shower

We are learning how to make funny faces, this was just at the tail end of one

Ben in a milk and sleeping on daddy coma
Happy times!

Well, it finally stopped raining enough for us to get some tomato cages in and take some pictures

The cages are 5 feet high and about 23 inches in diameter

This Brandywine is tied to its stake!

The cherry tomatoes have taken off!

This is NOT what you want your peas to look like at the end of the season. We have a 5 foot high trellis. However the peas are 8 feet!

Happy Father's Day!!

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the men out there who modeled excellent fathering to Andrew. You did a great job. Andrew is everything I could have ever wanted in the father of our children. Hats off to all the hard working dads!

Ben is growing growing growing. At 4 weeks he is just shy of 11#. Nursing him is the polar opposite of my experience with Zach, and it is really something to treasure. He's awake and alert much more these days, which is really more fun!

Sleep is for other babies! I don't need to nap! This is what Zach protests during his late afternoon resting time.

Picnic at Barnegat Lighthouse for Father's Day

Eating sea shells by the sea shore. Why eat what mom and dad prepare when you can pick random stuff up off the ground?

An excellent stair climber!

Sleeping peacefully in the sling
It was a leetle windy!

Rocking horse video coming soon, we are experiencing some technical difficulties!

Antics!

Getting ready for our haircut!

Newly shorn for summer!

Helping put away various sized clothes

Oh, mom, did you need this for something? I thought I would nurse the baby!

Capers! And Peas and Bread

So it isn't cooked yet, but this is the prettiest challa I've ever made. The secret? I weighed the sections before braiding so they are even!

We have some beans coming up. The tomatoes are doing well. The arugula and lettuce is not. But, oh well, I'll figure it out soon.

And the peas are coming out! Yeah!

The potatoes are doing great too. This is what a potato plant looks like.

Two rows of purple peruvian potatoes! I look out the front window at these every day and they make me absurdly happy!

Zach loves to jump in his crib!

You mean the Boppy is for Benjamin?

Umm, dad? I'm stuck!

Pictures

Not much narration today. Things are going great. Ben is gaining weight and breastfeeding is thus far, quite successful! Zach is adjusting, and generally doing pretty well!
