Mom moves in

Oh how we missed our Granmere. Explaining that Granmere is going to be coming "next week" is rather lost on a 2 year old.

Carts! What fun!

Surely you need help with this Granmere!

Oh. I wasn't supposed to climb in the fridge? Who knew?

Ben in the springtime

Well, it is mostly tiring

But Ben is pulling himself up everywhere

And starting to enjoy the outside

We spent the afternoon planting. We got 3 dozen raspberry canes in the ground. So, I am thinking about yummy summer fruit! We also planted hops, so we are looking forward to fresh hop beer in the fall. The above picture is one of the spots I put the raspberries in. I had to remove a stone patio type thing I didn't know we had! I am going to feel that tomorrow!

If anyone stopped to do the calculation, Lizzy and I have been friends for OVER TWENTY YEARS. Our kids weigh 75 pounds between them. How is this possible???

Goodbye Dad

Well, these pictures are the last ones we are going to have of Dad. I took them on Saturday before Dad went down hill so fast on Sunday.
I wanted to post them and share them. I think it is a blessing that he went downhill so fast. He really did enjoy his last day with his grandchildren.

I'll miss you Daddy. And whenever I see a cardinal, I will think of you and know that your spirit is with me.
