What a brave kid

So, for those of you who don't follow us on FaceBook, this news will come as a bit of a shock.  Zach broke his leg.  Rather badly.  He's going to be ok, he doesn't need surgery, but he's going to be in this cast for a minimum of 4 weeks and then a walking cast after that.  These pictures are from the orthopod's this morning as we were waiting and getting a real cast.

Zach was fascinated by the leg models and he's decided he wants to be an orthopedist when he grows up.  Next week he'll probably be back to wanting to be a fireman.

You couldn't have asked for a better attitude during the casting.  Part of it was the awesome orthopod.  But really, you can't see the little tear at the corner of Zach's eye here.  He was really trying to cooperate with the task of casting a very hurt leg.

I was so happy to find a great doctor.

You can't keep a good kid down.
