Getting ready for Christmas

Sitting with dad

Helping decorate the tree. We put 4 fewer boxes of ornaments on this year. As you will see in other pictures, the tree is practically bare. My brother disagrees on this point.

Oooooooooooo dangling shiny bits. Zach shows off his inner blue jay.

All these boxes to chew on!

Many adventures!

At the tree farm!

Look! There is our tree! I have to admit, now that it is in our house, this is the most symmetrical Christmas tree I've ever seen. It is going to look great with lights and ornaments!

Feet! They are yummy.

And look what we learned this week! And he went right after my copper skillet first! Well, at least he has good taste in cookware!

And the new baby says hello! Level II Ultrasound is Jan 5th, gender news after that!

Fun times!

So, we had an adventursome week. Seeing as I was getting it WAY too easy in this pregnancy, that clearly was not going to last. On Thursday, I collapsed in a faint at work. How totally girly of me. Happily, the First Seargent caught me. How totally embarassing. A fun trip to the hospital in the ambulance ensued where I fainted again, but strapped to a stretcher this time, so the results weren't nearly so dramatic. I'm ok, the baby is ok. There is no explanation for what happened. Just one of those things. Hopefully the pregnancy from here out will remain drama free.

Fun in the bouncer!

Blueberries! Fear not, no actualy blueberries were ingested in this process. Mashed to bits and flung everywhere instead!

Nothing says done with breakfast like chewing on dad's watch

Growing up!

So Zach is almost 7 months old! It's amazing! We've had a lot of activity around here, so blogging has sort of fallen behind. It is amazing how long it takes to catch up after vacation!

Zach loves riding on dad's shoulders. It is nice to have him pull someone else's hair for a change!

Aggie checks out what the sleeping is all about!

YUM! Bananas in the mesh feeder!

OK, and this is going to be my only political commentary from the whole long election season: Totally plagarized from the NPR via the Internet:
Rosa sat so Martin could walk
Martin walked so Obama could run
Obama runs so our children can fly

Get out and vote!

6 month birthday!

So, today was Zach's first half birthday! We had a great day. We gardened and napped.

He's getting to be a big sitting up boy! He is sitting all by himself in this shot.

And standing is his favorite past time!

And Zachy kisses are the BEST!

Chilling in the PnP
Sitting in his high chair. He eats carrots and sweet potatoes under protest.
