Fun in the snow

I swear it takes up 10m per kid to get out the door.  Especially because we have to wrap and wrap Zach's cast.  We put a sock on, then his waterproof sheath (for the shower) over his sweats (which are over the cast).  The another sock, to protect the sheath, then the snow pants, and then we duct tape a plastic bag over the end of his leg.  You should see him zing around in the snow!

Peekaboo!

Snow plow sledding hills!!  Perfect size for pre-schoolers (and mom's who go down the hill with them)

A little pink person

A rare shot with his hood on.

Walking with purpose

Dad sets off for snowshoeing!

Dad comes back from snowshoeing.  The boys were mostly interested in the poles.

Ben didn't want to come in, despite the fact that he was crying because he was hungry and cold!

A very fun rest of Christmas

Tom spent HOURS reading to, and playing with the boys.  It was so fantastic.

Table is set!  I love the navy walls, it makes the room so warm and cozy.  I feel like I am dining in a jewelery box

Complete and Total Chaos

It took us over 3 hours to open presents.  Partially that's because we took a breakfast break, partially because there were a TON of presents!

Christmas Morning!

The happiest kids

The stockings were hung on the bannister with care, the chimney was occupied by the fire, and that seemed like a safety hazard

the chaos begins
