Tree Hunting!

Well, in a break with all known Tidd tradition, we bought a tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Boy was it COLD out!!

Walking on the farm.

Ben's not so sure about this!

Running with Daddy

Ben found one!

The tree!

This place is very civilized. You pick out a tree, go find someone who gives a lift back in a golf cart, and then they cut it, carry it back, wrap it and drill a hole in the bottom.

Fun in November

Well, we are all going along and getting along here. I finally feel better and haven't been to the hospital for almost 10 days! Hurrah! The boys are doing great. You can practically see Ben grow. I swear his face is longer and more grown up in the afternoon than it was just that very morning!

Wiggles and squiggles in the bathtub.

Heading out to Grandmere's. Zach can now unlock the door and let himself out. This is not a good development.

Charlie relaxing at Mom's.

Andrew being an awesome homesteading dad and grinding pork shoulder.

And getting ready to make chicken wings. YUM!

17 weeks! Not much of a belly. I can feel some we small fluttery kicks sometimes.

More Fun in Boston

Two kids playing on a grave. Alas, this isn't one of the family ones in the old Lexington Cemetery

A Texas transplant? Don't believe it, he's a native New Englander.

A Growing Up Boy

Ben is sure growing fast. Every time we turn around he's saying a new work ("bite" for light for example). He tries to do everything his brother does. And succeeds more or less.

We've learned to "feed" ourselves. Or at least bring a spoon and food near our mouth and try.

Rally to Restore Sanity

So, Andrew and I, in a sanity test, decided to go to DC to Jon Stewart's Rally this weekend. We dropped the kids off at the grandparents in Delaware and went on to DC.

We sailed into the New Carrlton station by 11:30! We figured we were SET. Uhh, no.

This is part of the line. It started at the back on the left, circled around the outerwall of the parking deck and then came in to be the line on the right, which then proceeded out the deck to the station. And that was to buy tickets.

Andrew waiting patiently

The Smithsonian Metro stop.

We didn't take as many pics as we could have. The place was PACKED. It was crazy! We didn't hear any of the speakers/performers but had a good time anyway.
