On the beach! Ocean Grove NJ

So, Andrew and I mistakenly go to Ocean Grove Beach. Hey no problem! We walk on, put our stuff down, and I look over to the folks sitting to our right. I turn to Andrew and I say, 'Gee that looks like Sister Mary from Athens'. Andrew informs me that it could not possibly be a nun I knew from Georgia on the very same beach. Turns out, it was. A little St. Joe's reunion in Ocean Grove, NJ!

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!

The jetty near where we were sitting. This is the place at high tide.

Pets!

Medchen had an adventure this weekend. It involved getting out the back gate, walking up the middle of 537 and being rescued. Mom had a bit of a breakdown, but all's well that ends well.

Life is no fun if you can't torment the cat.

Purple Therapy

So, generally the idea is to spakle, let it dry, sand, and then paint. Whoops! Here's the handy hair dryer! This is about the only use it gets in our house!!
There can never be enough prep work for painting. Thank heavens for blue tape.

Note hair safely braided out of the way! Key for any painting endevor!
