Relaxing on Christmas Eve. It is amazing how low stress our holiday has been. Not having a tree helps. But, I think it is mostly because we are all acutely aware of what is really important this holiday season...family

Big boys

We had to rather abruptly transition Zach to a big boy bed because he got himself caught in the slats of his crib. He then proceeded to get himself caught in the slats on his toddler bed. So, he's now got a twin size bed that oughta last till college!

We had to transition Zach to a the guestroom and a big boy bed rather abruptly. He learned to stick his feet through the slats on the crib and hurt himself trying to yank free. So, we are adjusting to the idea that one can get out of bed after we are put to bed. Here he is sleeping on the floor after about 30m of sobbing at the gate.

Ben is sleeping in the crib for naps, now that Z is out of it. But, we still co-sleep at night. Hopefully after the holidays we'll transition to over nights in the crib too! Zach LOVES to visit his brother in the morning. Preferrably to wake him up to snuggle/smother him!
