Life with Zach
Wednesday, April 9, 2008
Home again, home again....
Well, as Michele indicated, is been a long three days at the hospital
Suffice it to say that we had some really excellent care while we were there.
Gold Stars to Dr. Mayson, Astrid, and Carolyn ( or is that Shastity ) they're twins and
both Labor and Maternity nurses at Centrastate and they both took care of us over the months.
Of course there were more, but the names and faces start to blend to the sleep-deprived memory.
So Zachary is still a little bundle of cuteness and has started his own fan club.
Here is charter member and treasurer, Andrea with Zack.
And while in the hospital we started to get used to the changes life has in store.
Here Michele learns to feed Zachary an I learn to feed Michele.

Home again home again!
Quick update here. Andrew hopes to post pictures tonight.
We are home, and happy to be so. We are doing great. Had a rough night last night, but that was to be expected.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. I promise pictures soon.
Oh and if you are wondering, the cradle is working out GREAT!

Big Day + 1
It's seems I've been negligent in my husbandly duties.
It turns out that there are certain things people want to know about a baby.
How are they doing?

Mother and Baby doing well, and getting better each moment.
Also, the statistics
Born: 4/4/08 14:54
Weight: 8lb 7oz
Length: 21 in
ERA: 0.7 ( but not yet faced the minimum number of batters )

How cute is he?

As you can see, he is quite cute. Here he is sporting the latest head fashions from Gramere.
And people are also curious about the name.
Ladies and Gentleman,
Indroducing,

The Big Day.....
.....And a half
.......... And then some
Andrew here, subbing for Michele. Please bear with me.
The day started with some routine testing but ended up with a scheduled induction,
so after supper we reported to the Hospital

After the Induction, the labor began and the contractions came and grew.
But we quickly hit the roadblock with serious, horrible back labor. An Epidural was the only option.
So after that, we had more successful laboring and progressed to 9cm.
Michele had contractions like a champ. Really, is was text book on how to have contractions.

But that was the end of the progress, we stall for 6 hours.
Now at 2pm the Doc called for a C-section
Cut, zip, bang! ( it really didn't feel like that at the time ) and TA-DA!
Mr. Pfannenstiel!
And even after surgery, Michele is as beautiful and photogenic as ever.
And that is as photogenic as I get.

And the result is this beautiful baby boy

..... now if we can only decide on a name!
Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support!

EDD +5
And today's cute baby animal picture! Just as soon as I have a baby, I'll post my own cute baby animal picture!Tuesday, April 1, 2008
EDD +4
No baby yet, but really, not so bad considering it is April Fool's day.
The crib is coming along, Andrew was up making the bottom even till midnight last night. Once that's even, I think all we have to do is glue it. My dad is going to stain it and then, the baby will sleep in it!
Of course, we are still missing a key piece of the puzzle. He seems pretty content to stay where he is.
